Which packing boxes and materials you need

A book box is the small, strong carton for heavy things — books, tools, tinned food and crockery — because a large box full of them becomes too heavy to lift safely. A tea chest box is the bigger carton for light, bulky items such as bedding, cushions, linen and kitchenware. A portarobe keeps hanging clothes on the rail so they travel upright and arrive ready to hang. Packing paper wraps glassware and fills the gaps that let things shift in transit, bubble wrap protects anything fragile, and packing tape with a dispenser closes cartons far faster than tape alone. A marker is worth buying alongside the boxes: writing the room on every carton is what makes unloading quick.
