What affects the cost of a move
- How much you’re moving. More furniture and boxes means more loading time and possibly a bigger truck.
- Number of movers. Heavy items like fridges, couches and pianos usually need two or more people.
- Access at both addresses. Stairs, lifts, long driveways and distant parking all add time.
- Distance and traffic. Travel time between the two addresses counts towards the job.

- Sort out parking. Reserve a spot close to the door, and book lifts or loading docks for apartment moves.
