Upfront hourly rates, quoted before you book

There is no mystery figure at the end. You are told the rate and the likely truck size before anything is booked, and the quote is built from the furniture and boxes you tell us about.
Packing matters more on a long run
We do not pack for you, which means the quality of your own packing is what protects your things on the way to South Australia. A few things worth doing properly:
- Fill boxes to the top. Half empty boxes collapse under the ones above them; use towels or linen to take up the gap.
- Keep boxes liftable. Books in small boxes, bedding in large ones, never the other way around.
- Tape the base as well as the lid, across the seam.
- Wrap glass and crockery individually and stand plates on edge rather than stacking them flat.
- Label the room, not the contents, so boxes go straight to the right place at the Adelaide end.
- Dismantle what comes apart and bag the fittings to the piece they belong to.

What we do not do
No packing service and no storage at either end. If you need somewhere to put things between dates, that has to be arranged separately.
